Bulkhead/Plumbing question.

Hey guys. Just got my recently purchased 210 cleaned up. It came fitted with bulkheads which I just removed as they were encrusted in all kinds of dead algae and silicone. This leaves me with four 3-1/4" holes and two 2" holes.

My end goal is to have these holes plugged as I don't want a sump at the moment.

Should I even attempt to reuse the old bulkheads? I have a feeling the answer is no, but replacing them will be roughly 1/3 of what I paid for the tank... Any suggestions guys?

210 gallons is a lot of water to possibly end up on the floor due to a crappy seal on the used ones. Buy new ones and save yourself the trouble and worry.

In all likelihood, you could get away with just replacing the gaskets.

Check out Jehmco for bulkheads. They have the best prices I have found anywhere.

For a big tank, you can't beat a sump for filtration. Wish all my tanks were drilled. :)
