Brown algae

So in my 3 wk old 55g mbuna tank I am getting a bloom of brown algae on he decorations. I don't mind green, but the brown is ugly. O the questions re why and I you have a remedy?

It is pretty common to get diatoms in a newly set up tank. Maybe bump up your water changes and it should clear up.
