Typical of other dwarf cichlids: not sure if you can do the "harem thing" with these, but post-breeding behavior may (all too likely) include munching fry, particularly among males. If you can't separate the male, feed him well and drop in a couple handfuls of oak leaves or such - makes for good hiding places and will host food for the young. Or get a breeder net to suspend in the tank and put the fry or the male in that. It works better for the fry and you won't have to wait as long to induce another spawn or worry about the gustatory designs of the female(s).
