  • Alcolapia alcalica - Lake Natron Soda Lake Cichlid CARES - proven breeding M/F ~2" - $50

  • Chaplicthys pardalis (collection location known) - Blue-green goodeid CARES ~1" - $3 each
  • Ameca splendens - Butterfly Goodied CARES ~1" - $2 each
  • Ilyodon furcidens "Comala, MX" - Basslet goodeid CARES ~1.5" - $4 each
South Americans
  • Cichlasoma dimerus "Arroyo Chelsea" - F1 - only ones in captivity from wild parents collected in Uruguay - seem to max out at ~5" for male/3" female - ~1" - $8 each
  • Australoheros sp. "Local" - F1 - from my wild pair...probably the only ones in captivity - pretty yellow and dark brown chanchito - ~1.5-2.5" - group of $8 each or 5/$35

Convicts and Friends
I think I'm the most comprehensive source of known-provenance "convicts" in the hobby. Most of these aren't available from Rapps...or even the guys who originally collected them. Any of them are great fish...just choose one and you'll have more in no time (or ask me and I'll recommend one)!

I'll do my best to ID pairs where possible but it's always best to start with a group...
