I was super excited with Jeff Rapps brought back some wild convicts from Rio Matagalpa in Nicaragua and was lucky enough to pick up a pair from him at AquaMania.
I came home tonight to find the female dried up on the floor behind the tank. They were in a 29 with a few other grow outs. She was about 2" and stunning. I'm so disappointed.:angry3:
It would be one thing if the tank was wide open or if I had left the top off, but below is a picture of the hole she jumped out of. It is only about 1.5 inches square. The rest of the tank has a glass cover and the plastic strip that you cut to fit that comes with it. The filter is an AC70 for reference, and the blue you see below the water's surface is the top of the heater in the tank.
