Acrylic repair

Hi. I have a used acrylic 150 that appears to have crazing or something similar on most of the surface. It almost looks like tiny bubbles and seems to follow curved lines. Maybe as if someone cleaned it with a chemical that damaged it. It is only on the outside of the tank. I tried to sand it going as rough as 320 but the defect is still there. Does anyone have experience using 220 or more coarse sandpaper? I will try to attach pictures
Thanks.

I agree. The more I look at it the more it appears in a pattern similar to how you would wipe it with a cloth. I guess I will try 220 in a small spot and if that doesn't get it out, I may have to live with it.
