It was an interesting auction with a wide variety of fish. Many, very many actually, of you were missed but the beer flowed freely and I had a good time. Great prices and some unusual items for sale. The plants were great and the African (UGGH) Ciclids were not your everyday (UGGHH) Rift lake junk. OK, I lied, all Rift Lake is junk so there.

We had new world and old world, dwarf and not so dwarf, Malawi, Tanganyika, and Victoria; we had barbs, tetras, anabantids, catfishes, livebearers-both Poeciliid and Goodeid; we had killies, rainbowfish, live food cultures and plants-lots of plants. Lots of good deals to be had. No major glitches. And George's input on how to improve for next time was invaluable. Not too bad for a first go around. Could have used a few more people and lots to sell, but that will come.

George and Joel pretty much hit the nail on the head. Special thanks to Pat, George and Sarah from CCA and if I missed any others for traveling up 83 to help us out. We always appreciate our brethren from that side of the Mason-Dixon

The selection of beer was 2nd to none.
The restaurant had a very nice menu as well.
I even had the choice of firm or soft pillows in my room!

Definitely an auction that will be growing and one that I want to be part of!
Very nice job to Kurt, Joel and their wives...I had a lot of fun!
