Did a water change and added some new anubias and redid the rock pile a bit. Was really happy with how it looked and then I noticed one of my labs (this is a p. acei and lab tank with one boy ruby red and a mess of s. lucippinis) is missing a fin, and then I realize he's also missing his tail...

I turned off the TV and went up to bed about 30 minutes ago. As I got to the top of the stairs, I smelled burnt plastic. I went into the spare bedroom where I have a bunch of tanks and found the power strip I was using on one set of tanks had failed. The carpet is burned and there was some burn...
