I know we've had a few posts (maybe more than a few) asking about what kinds of wood that grows locally is safe for aquarium use. Could everyone chime in on what they use and how they prepare it. Does the wood need to be dried first? Does the bark need to be peeled off? Do you recommend...

Some bass I caught had some red worms on the top of it's mouth. Bright red, once longish and perfectly healthy looking (in a bad way) What types of parasites are these? They were in like 3 of the 5 bass I caught and I had to get tweezers to pull them out n relieve the bass!
