Never used them but am sick to death of HOB and canister filers. I have 2 39 gallon tanks I'd like to run off of one air pump with sponge filters. These would be lightly stocked, 3-5 or so ancistrus in each in addition to using them as grow out tanks for fry? Any input, advice or...

Hey guys Yesterday i picked up an ehiem 2260 and it ended up leaking. Now that I cant use it, I have to find a new filter that can filter the same amount of water, since I was really counting on this filter. I'm looking for ehiem 2260s, ehiem 2262s, fx5s, fx6s, xp3s, or xp4s. Thanks

I got 8 of the Swiss tropical sponge filters at the auction yesterday and they move some water. Highly recommend them.

So I've been finding really good deals for hob and canister filters and slowly hoarding it. I'm just waiting for my other half to cave in and let me set up more tanks so I could put these filters to use! Anyone have this problem? :cool:
