I've had my AC110 set up for almost 2 years and there's been an increasing amount of motor noise coming from both units, and one of them completely stopped this weekend. I removed motor and cleaned the impeller and shaft. The shaft had enough wear on it that I'm certain that is the problem...

I have a AC70 on a 75g, it's a newer tank with a thicker ledge and the AC70 doesn't correctly fit on it. I'm tired of screwing with it, anyone have a AC110 they would WTT for a AC70? I'll throw in some cash for the used price difference. The AC70 is only 3 months old. PM me....

It just started. I cleaned everything and even put some vaseline on the shaft and the around the magnet, but not helping. I even switched the impeller (with magnet), but same deal. Any idea whatelse I could do to address the problem? The noise is becoming unbearable.
