What did you do to your tank(s) today?

Went to the meeting in Lancaster at that fish place and bought a couple of wooden airstones and an impeller for a AC 110. Then went to Rachael's and got 6 otto's for the planted tank. Watched the tank today and enjoyed that it is finally coming to life.

Drained and moved a 75, the stand and 4 tens to the other side of the room. Refilled the 10's. That's all.

Largest is probably 10-12" smallest is about 7". Not sure yet on the breakdown gender wise. I am thinking its two pairs but not sure. Was told they were raised on peas which works with the one Pacu in their tank. Price of FREE was right either way.

stripped about a jillion demasoni fry. It was like two weeks ago and the Demasoni appareantly felt it was time to get busy.

The fry are all bouncing up and down surfing in the current from an airstone like aliens worshipping their hive queen...

Then there were the dozen we rescued from stranger fates than being stripped...

4 loose in the tank that didn't get eaten
3 living inside a Rena cannister filter
5 that hitchhiked on plants and rocks and were discovered living in little puddles in the sterilite holding the plants and rocks...

Moved two shrimp tanks today. This task took way longer than expected. I saved the worse for last. The snowball, malawa and cherries are going to be hard. Doing one tank a day will drag things out but, I want to separate them from the exsisting mulm buildup. Sheesh...
