Great show last night. And you'll never guess who showed up. The President himself!

That's right, our very own Matt Quinn, President of CCA, attended. He can attest to the quality of the music. I don't have any pictures of Mr. Quinn from last night (his security detail discouraged pictures), but here's Mary and Little Pink.

Not me, but I wouldn't be surprised if Matt Quinn did. He was inviting my neighbor to bring her 13 year old son, who has two tanks, including a 55 I gave him.

Update: Mary and her band, Little Pink, will be playing at the Takoma Park Folk Festival, Sunday, Sept. 10, at 4 pm! (That's the day after our next meeting.)

Mary posted on Facebook that it will be a full band show, including the bass player, drummer, and pedal steel from her latest CD, plus a D.C. legend, Karl Strauss, on electric guitar. Should be a great show.
