Is there any chance this is a male dovii?

I know that its never easy to tell but is there any chance this is male. Im like 75% sure its female but idk. Ive had for about 4 months and about 4.5 inches

Interesting...That fish looks just like my fish that I picked up recently from Petco. I thought it was a Jack Dempsey but it started to look different as it grew. Its about 2 inches now. Can someone confirm if mine is a Dovii? Here is a pic.

It is definitely not a JD. It is a parachromis genus, but I would guess motaguense rather than dovii.

At 4.5 inches I would think you see some blue on the fins a a little head bump if it was male. I agree it is not a JD.
