I love Irwin Stone

Very much higher prices indeed. They are definitely more organized, they even have a huge bin of holey aquarium stone and large size lava rocks. I picked up 4 medium size black round rocks (I forgot the name but they passed the muriatic acid test and I liked them) and maybe 5 or 6 pieces of small to medium flat/thin veneer and my total was $67. Their average price for aquarium-safe rocks is somewhere between $1.30 to $1.70 per lbs.

For 140 lbs of rocks at The Stone Store, you'll pay around $200 which makes no sense :D

I couldn't find anyone to help me when I was at the Stone Store. Things weren't labeled and I couldn't figure out how much they cost.

I too am a big fan of Irwin Stone. Many of my tanks are scaped in part with rocks I picked up at Irwin.
