Hello from Lexington Park, Md. My names Brittany and i was recommended here from a member off a different cichlid forum =)
Had no idea there was a cichlid forum for the east coast til now!

I have 150gallon *waiting to be setup* 130g waiting to be taken down,
two 40g breeders also waiting to be taken down. Moving all my africans to the 150g upon rehoming of my mated pair of jaguars. Did have 75g saltwater but its already taken down =P

I prefer african cichlids and love watching thier behavior and always excited when i see a new female with a mouth full of eggs. I especially enjoy the Maingano species and have successfully bred and raised a good 100+ of them! Of course i've rehomed the fry otherwise my tank would be overrun with blues!!

How would i go about going to one of the meets? Wish i woulda found this forum a few weeks earlier jast gave away 30 of my mainganos to random people i met at petco.. Only have 12 or so left with 3 holding females.. havent been saving the fry bc my tanks were overrun with BLUE! Was gonna stop breeding em n only have my 1 tank *a 150g* and thats it, but if ppl want mainganos i may consider keeping one of my 40s for a grow out tank n pull my females to spit instead of letting the fry fend for themselves against my larger fish :p
