Hello CCA. My name is Nelson, I am relatively new to the area, currently living in DC. I was active in the NJAS in New Jersey in the past, and I've been keeping cichlids of all kinds (mostly central American) for about 20 years. I also keep planted tanks and nano reefs. Currently keeping P. Panamensis, T. Irregularis, and T. Pasionis.
Just wanted to introduce myself. I just found out about the CCA or I would definitely have gone to the BFD today. How often do those take place? Very interested in going to the next one and possibly selling some fish.

Hello, and welcome to the club. There is a diverse group of people here. The BFD happens this time of year once a year. They do have monthly meetings and swaps.

Welcome to CCA Nelson. As stated earlier we host the Big Fish Deal in late winter and have monthly meetings at JFK high school on Randolph rd in silver spring, md. Our next meeting is March 9. Hope to see you there.

Thanks everyone! And good to see people from MFK here too. I actually haven't had a gourami in a long time, just a username I made on forums a long time ago which I just stuck with. Not sure if I can make march 9th will be coming back from Puerto rico, but will stay tuned for next one, silver spring is close!
