Was in China all week. Came back to this. Any ideas what it is, besides ugly?

Looks like mold or fungus growing on or in a wound. Melafix or Pimafix would both help, probably. Methylene blue or Pimafix will kill the fungus while Melafix will help heal the wound. But it does depend on the extent of the wound, treatments are not always effective. Salt water treatment and Melafix are another option.

I like the Melafix Pimafix combo. Easy and natural and works on nearly everything. Water quality issues/wound are likely the cause.

Frank, is the methylene blue harmful to corydoras? I have half a dozen in there with the GBRs.

I use methlyene blue at levels recommended on the bottle with cory eggs and fry and do not see a problem.
