Cleaning lava rock

So lfs I use got rid of all of the lavarock from their tanks, large drilled pieces I got for super cheap, the catch is they are all kinds of eww. They stink some are slimey as all get out some have salt deposits for the brackish tanks.

Any one have any suggestions on cleaning these up so they are safe to use I have about 25 to clean and have been boiling them a couple at a time which helps but some of them are still pretty gnarly.

Bleach, rinse, repeat.

1/10 bleach to water, and could I use the same bleach bath for multiple pieces ?

I probably do a higher concentration when I use it maybe 1:5. I've never had to bleach quite that much stuff, though.
