Cichlid ident

Anyone know what this is? I thought at first it was a White lab, but I'm not so sure.

Looks possibly labidochromis, though I'm not sure its white lab. Potentially something melanochromis too. Might be tough to tell until its get bigger or shows other color, if its a female then it might never be easy to tell.

it does look like a white lab to me. Google images for Labidochromis caeruleus Nkhata Bay.

I disagree, look at the markings on the tail. None of the white labs look like that .

true, I hadn't noticed that.

Egg spot and black strip on the anal fin would suggest male White Lab, but the translucent anal, dorsal and tail is new to me. I've had clown and white labs breed unusual offspring similar to this but have vertical dark body stripes as well.
