Burrowing Catfish

I have a few burrowing catfish. They like to hide in the sand. Best to observe them with the lights out. Pretty cool huh?!

I have a banjo catfish that does the same thing. I won't see him for months and will wonder if he's still alive and then one day he'll come out and just be hanging out on top out in the open. Next day he'll disappear and I won't see him for another month or more.
