Bloated German Blue Ram Needs Help!

I've got a German Blue Ram who appears to be bloated, either through constipation, or something else. She's been this way for a couple of days, and just sits on the bottom, breathing.

I've tried feeding her some split peas, but she hasn't taken them yet. There is some garlic already in the flake food she is usually fed, but that food is what got her in this mess in the first place.

Any ideas what might be causing this problem?

Any suggested remedies?

It's too late for her. Look up Dropsy. This lions like a buildup of fluids due to organ failure.
