Thanks Andrew. There is already a plan to explore the possibility of posting video from the convention next year. As easy as it was made out to be, streaming live video is not that easy. Especially if you don't have the $5K-$10K to pay for the infrastructure, setup and equipment. Sure...

That's right, free. The entire setup was abandoned by the former tenants in a rental property. 55G tank, plastic hood w/ lights, TopFin filter, stand, a plethora of plastic rocks and plants and beautiful multicolored gravel. Fish in pic not included. Tank and gravel needs a little rinse...

I have 3x 30Br tanks with glass tops made by All-Glass. Dimensions are 36"x18"x12" plus a little for trim. It has the same footprint as the more common 40 Breeder but 4 inches shorter. This is a great way to vertically stack several tanks in smaller spaces while getting some great water...

Calvus are a bit hard to visually inspect from outside the tank. The only way I can tell which one is the male/female of my pair is by relative size. Considering you only have one, venting is the more accurate way.

Kinda hard to tell. Have you tried venting it?

Turbo shells work well for me. Pretty much any spiral shell with a wide opening should work. I got mine from http://www.shellsaplenty.com/medium.html
