    3D printers and aquarium ideas

Awesome idea. Not a fan of the stealth bomber look but more rounded would work for me. What did it cost to produce one of these?

Questions on how environment affects male peacocks, along with some other general questions about peacocks.

I keep 11-13 haps and peacocks between 1 1/2 and 3 inches in a 40 long without any problems if that helps. I did it initially to overcrowd and spread any aggression. I do have twice the filtration for a 40 as well. I've not seen any impact on color other than some Lake Vic's I've tried. Had a...

Small Cichlids with guppies and neon tetras

Any of the Mikrogeophagus ramirezi family will work with guppies and tetras. They will occupy the bottom of the tank and are only agressive when breeding and defending eggs, Usually anyone that comes to close, but not killer aggressive. For a tank your size I would start with 6 juveniles and let...

CAS is Cichlids Are Special located in York PA. Jay is a CCA Supporter and will deliver to our meetings if he get enough orders. Not sure what the magic number is but I'd guess $100. Tampa Bay Cichlids has free shipping on orders over $49.00.

    Looking for peacock breeder.

I have a Labidochromis sp. "Mbamba" over 4 inches outgrowing my tank I would sell for $30. Not the clearest pictures. He's in an all male tank so not showing breeding colors without females around. I grew him up from 1 1/2 inches and he's been pretty peaceful to tankmates. Picked up a Sulfer...

    Stock tanks outside, how?

Thanks all for the info. My stepson had a tub to collect rainwater for his garden during dry spells and kept goldfish in it year round to control mesquitos. I imagine it doesn't work for all fish. It blows my mind that I read so much about substrate (and gravel cleaning), water quality, ph...

Tight schooling tetras that can go with my acara

I agree with CichlidAddict. You may want to look at pencil fish. My Beckfordi group of 8 school sometimes in small groups, sometimes together and will occupy the top of the tank away from trouble.
