I know I'm really pushing my luck here. Again, this spawning wasn't planned in this 30 gallon!
I've got a lot of cover, direct passages to the other side of the tank blocked (parents don't seem to go up and over as much as they like to go through the cover), and threw floating plants in there to dance in the water current to keep the parents busy.
I seem to have some pretty easy going fish, not that I'm going to make the mistake of any protein rich foods again until I'm ready for them to spawn.
Definitely one of my favorite species!
