This has been an ongoing problem that never seemed to be able to be resolved, even after contacting the site admin. The simplest and easiest fix is to create a new username using a different email address.
Perhaps it was slow with the PVAS auction going on. People were inputting items on the days before the auction and during the auction the site was being used to project images of the items on a screen. So the system was really busy for lot of days. After the auction people were printing out buyer and seller reports.
I had no problems getting into the system, but it was sometimes slow.
