Please share the information below so we can make sure everyone is aware that the event will not be held.
After careful consideration and serious discussion with JRAS leadership, we have decided to postpone the JRAS Spring Fling Event. A postponement provides flexibility to regroup and consider an alternative date as we learn more of COVID-19 and the rate of spread of this serious virus. While we understand that many people look forward to our events, we want to limit the spread of this virus and protect the health and safety of our members, speakers, attendees and their families and friends.
Our sister club to the North, PVAS, has already postponed their spring auction. Both the Maryland and Virginia Governors have declared a state of emergency, in their respective states, and have asked that meeting groups be cancelled or kept to lower attendance numbers.
We will share details about a possible new date in the coming weeks. Thank you for your understanding and support.
