I have 3 juvies 1/2"-3/4" that seem to have trouble with buoyancy. :( So before they get any bigger, I'd like to cull them. I don't have any fish that can make a meal of them. If someone would like some free protein for their fish, I can bring to the April meeting.

anybody in the northern virginia area have any favorite places to buy live feeders? i typically go to pet supplies plus in fairfax, but was told that they're franchising and eliminating their livestock, including feeders. i know of course the big chains have them, but they're 17¢ each there...

i know snails are typically a ubiquitous pest, but i cannot seem to have a "problem" with them infiltrating my tanks. any tips on how to trigger a snail infestation to keep my fahaka puffer happy?

I just did a cull of a superviel spawn and anyone who breeds these knows you get a lot. This is the 3rd cut and all are healthy, dime to quarter sized fish and number around 30. I also have 10 breeder sized that also would make good food for those large fish you may have. Come pick them up in...

I have a bunch of random fancy guppies that didn't sell from my room at ACA. They are free if anyone wants them as feeders.

Anybody coming to the meeting who needs to cull away any over population of small fish, shrimp or crays, and don't mind them being munched on by bigger fish... I am happy to take the extras off your hands! Even willing to pay a small fee, if it helps. Emphasis on "small". LOL... :D -Rich

Anyone using feeders? If so, how do you treat them before you feed them to your fish. I would rather get as many fry as I can from hobbyist and raise them to feeder size. Anyone got lots of fry they want to get rid of?
