Any idea what this cichlid is?

I can't remember the name of this cichlid, hoping that someone out there knows what it is. The little guy is gymnogeophagus australis, at least that is what i was told. they are finally starting to get a little bit of reddish in the dorsal fin. It's the other guy i need help with.

Looks like a convict/cutteri hybrid of some sort. The faint line from the eye to the corner of the mouth is a cutteri trait, but the colors are wrong. Cutteri are usually tan/yellow not grey.

got it at a pvas auction, there was only 1. i think it said it was a cutteri. the color is lavenderish and there is a bit of red on the tips of the fins. it turns almost white w/ the black stripes sometimes.
