Frozen food for Julidochromis

Can someone tell me what the best food for Julidochromis Transcriptus is?

I was going to offer them blood worms to condition them for breeding. Can this cause bloat? Is a diet of frozen live foood suitable?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks

i wouldn't feed tangs blood worms it can cause bloat... a better frozen food to supplement a good pellet is mysis shrimp or brine shrimp

Is the issue of bloat from bloodworms a universal issue in all fish species, or just a certain few?

I just go by, diversity is key rule. I feed mostly new life pellets as a staple but supplement with diff kinds of frozen all the time. I mostly use brine fortified with spirulina but use a wide variety of frozens. I also take a leaf of kale or collard greens nuke it for 30-40 sec to soften it up and use a plant weight to sink it on occasion.
