You should have seen the 2" ones. :-/
They seem to use a different ruler when measuring fish than the rest of us do. . . . The 3" Gold Nugget was probably about 2.25-2.5" (generously).
The 2" ones were about 1.25".

Different measurement techniques indeed.
Mine was right at 2''. Gorgeous one still but an inch short.
