Have you seen this new style of egg tumbler? I just got one, and apparently Cobalt bought the patent and will start selling them this summer.
I'm kinda digging it so far. The water comes in the top through the sponge, and gets funneled down through the tube in the middle which is what keeps the eggs tumbling around in the bowl on the bottom. Since the bottom is closed, you can remove the whole thing still full of water and set it aside if needed (for whatever reason). I even stripped a Metriaclima directly into it.
I have one of the mesh on the bottom tumblers already, but am not terribly crazy about it.
