Reptile Terrarium Plants

Has anyone ever used the plastic plants sold in the reptile department of pet stores in their aquariums? I like the "vine" look and was thinking about picking some up and having them attached towards the top of the tank and having them hang down into the tank, but I can't find anything that says they are safe for aquarium use.

I have not used the silk ones but have used many fake plastic ones from michaels without issue.

The plastic ones I have used and they are fine. There are others that are more of a woven fabic that aren't. They frey and get a white fuzzy growth on them.
