I stupidly put Excel in a tank with my vals. I thought I was doing it lightly enough but apparently not and now they're all dying. :(

I really like vals in this tank. I know some of you have jungles in your tank. I'd love to buy a good sized bag. Maybe bring to the Saturday meeting?

cut the top/dead parts off and they "Should" come back..
excell melts crypts, vals, algaes, shrimps (lol, yeah,..they will be fried ) and in too large dose any fish pretty much..

I've heard of it, but never witnessed it myself.

Weird, i've been dosing 5ml of excel daily on my 75G tanks with Vals and haven't had an issue. How much did you put in there.

I'm sorry this happened :(

One cap full in a 45 and they started melting almost immediately. I'll pulled them up cut off all the dead parts and replanted them. Still looking to buy some, though . . .
