Fish bully!?

My fish (Big Daddy) always corner one of the other fish in the tank and "fans" him. He jerks his tail back and forth..why does he do this? He always does this to the same fish but chases everyone else.

I can't tell male from female!! Everyone else hide's in the coliseum at times and he lets that fish stay out with him worry free.

You have to males and "Big Daddy" is your dominant male unless you get that other fish out soon he will kill him especially if they are lake Victorian Cichlids

How big is your tank and how many fish are in there? With Malawi/Vics, if it's only a few, aggression gets focused and can be bad.

that is the exact same actions my pair of Lyonsii go through.... you may have a pair
