Filtration

LOL
Just take it out and smack it against something. It will make a mess but yes you should.
I do it once per year weather it needs it or not.
Do Not squeeze it like a hydro sponge.
Do not flush it out or clean completely.

Someone asked how we use air for filtration. I know this is an old thread but these are still running.

I saw this set up at Reeds place last year using Poret. He was pleased with the results he was getting. I know the price of the Poret sheet up front can set you back.

Yes. For small stuff the cutters work great. They also come in handy for
Me. I have them next to air line to cut that too. Lol

I have been running these on my 6 55's, 2 33's, and a bunch of 10's.
I also bought some of Stephan Tanners lift tubes last year to try out on one
Of them. I did not thing it would make that much difference but it did.
I will buy more of them at the ACA if he has enough. Cheaper to make
My own but his move 3 or 4 times the water.
