Same experience as Christine for me. Most times the only reminants I'll find are a spine or a half a skull.

Yeah I have royal pleco that I picked up from Matt (Spazmatik) a few months back but witht the HUGE piece of driftwood I have in the tank I think I have only seen this like 3-5 times since I brought him home.

Mine is almost 100% nocturnal as well, only see him when he has to defend his cave.

i had one big, BIG male apistogramma eunotos disappear not that long ago. the female had babies and she was herding them around so he was hiding more than usual. then she got sick and died so i wanted to pull him out so the babies had a living chance, took the big wood out, searched everywhere, took caves out, searched behind, the neighbors ' tanks, floor, wall.. nada! this fish was about 4 inches and stunning...:angel2: gone

1 Valliant's chocolate gourami (one stressed and died shortly after the move, the other male was in the tank eating grindal worms on Saturday but nowhere to be found on Sunday - why is it always the rare/expensive ones?).
A dozen or so cherry shrimp (if they'd all died, the tank would've crashed, and I see molts, but again, where the heck are the shrimp?)

It's one thing to find a body, but I hate when they disappear - it takes everything in my power not to go taking the tank apart looking for them.

Note - these are all in different tanks - not one tank.
