Hey gang, I'm doing another order for stuff from COBALT for the SEPTEMBER meeting. You can also pick up here or have it shipped (which is a couple of bucks for most items). The meeting is the 12th, orders need to be in by absolutely no later than the 7th by noon.

<b> Cobalt Group Buy </b>
Cobalt Neo Therm Heaters:
These are the fool proof, flat shaped heaters that are super accurate, with a built in thermometer and thermal cut off circuit. Not cheap, but, then, what's the value of your fish tank?

50 Watt -- $69.99
75 Watt -- $72.99
100 Watt -- $74.99
150 Watt -- $85.99
200 Watt -- $89.99

Cobalt Easy Therm Heaters:
These are similar to the above, but not quite as well built. Kind of the difference between a Maserati and a Ferrari. :)

25 Watt -- $49.95
50 Watt -- $52.95
75 Watt -- $59.95
100 Watt -- $59.95

Mini-Therm (5Watt Mini) -- $16.99 (For small tanks)

Cobalt Accu Therms (Glass Heaters)
These are basically what you guys know as "Visi-Therms". Basic glass heaters.

50 Watt -- $30.99
75 Watt -- $32.99
150 Watt -- $35.99
300 Watt -- $39.99

Neo-Stat Heater Controler -- $115.95
This is the controller for a Neo-Therm heater. It has a place to plug in a normal heater, and a probe that goes into the water. Set the heater at maximum, and let this control the temperature. Alternatively, set your heater normally, and set this to 86 degrees. Should your heater fail, this will act as an automatic cut-off. Can be used, with a little ingenuity, on multiple heaters.

Filters:
EXT Canister Filter -- $159.99 (INCLUDES PUMP)
This is the big canister with the revolutionary external pump, allowing quick, easy, spill proof cleaning.

Cobalt Micro-UV -- $79.95
This is a small UV that can be attached to the EXT. Can also be used with a regular powerhead and some tubing (not included).

Duo 500 -- $79.95
Duo 1000 -- $89.95
Small internal filters, with a built in UV bulb.

Powerheads and Pumps:
Basic Powerheads (number is LPH)
MJ400 -- $36.99
MJ600 -- $39.99
MJ900 -- $41.99
MJ1200 -- $45.99

Neo-Flow 10,000LPH Adjustable DC Prop Pump -- $169.99
For use on aquariums 2.5-gallons and larger. ;)

Nano-Flow -- $69.95
A smaller version of the above.

In Line Pump (For use with EXT) -- $39.99

Flakes:
Prices are 1.5 oz / 3 oz / 8 oz

Tropical Flake: $5.95 / $8.95 / $17.99
Colour Flake -- $5.95 / $9.95 / $17.99

Discus Hans Flake -- N/A / $10.95 / $24.95

Mysis Pellets -- N/A / 12.95 / $25.95
Discus Pellets -- N/A / $12.95 / $29.95
Mysis Spirulina Pellets -- $7.95 / $14.95 / $29.95
Crab and Lobster Minis -- $3.95 (1.2 Oz)

If I'm missing a food, just ask.

Breeder Supplies:
Apisto Hut (Small Cave) -- $5.95
Cichlid Hut -- $8.95
Breeder Cone -- $24.95
Egg Rocker 65 -- $49.95
Egg Rocker 80 -- $59.95

Cobalt Power Gravel Cleaners, 10-30 Gallon -- $99.99
Oxy-Pro Electronic Pump -- $79.95
This thing is just... wow. Not only does it have enough head pressure to go down and handle something like 72" of head, but the entire motor is suspended inside, meaning it basically doesn't vibrate. No vibrations, no noise.

Love their egg rocker.
I checked out our Presidents at the cook out.
I had to have one.
Picked up last week.
Eggs are a rockin.
Really nice design.

Hey folks, don't forget to get in on this order if you need something. Cobalt has some great products and Batfish has been a great supporter of the club, so throw some business his way!

Les Wilson, the Owner of Cobalt, presented at the last CCA meeting. They've got a great product (at least my fish really like their foods). You can try to contact them through their website.

Vincent,

Cobalt also is on Facebook, and I've asked questions that way and gotten answers.

Wilson's talk was focused on fish nutrition and was very good. I feel fairly confident that Cobalt is a quality food.

I notice I don't get an oil slick on top of the water when I feed the Cobalt food which happens when I feed NLS.

This is a problem a number of customers have reported. We recommend adding 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil to your aquarium to remedy this (depending on size of aquarium and filtration). Some people recommend extra virgin olive oil, but we haven't really seen a difference. If you're worried about the fish's cholesterol levels (and these days, who isn't!), feel free to try canola oil instead.

Don't worry, FishEggs, we can work together to get that good NLS oil sheen back on the top of your tank.

Just add some cod liver oil
