Breeding Question

As I have stated before I was given some Black Convicts in a trade, now that the convicts are growing out Im starting to see a blue hue in the dorsal and Caudal fins along with some orange coloring in the body of some of the cichlids. What (if any) the proper and/or correct way to pair fish? Example: Mother/son, Father/daughter, brother/sister etc...... I tried to catch them on film but it is hard, these critters are quick but you can see the highlight in them.

It depends on what you're looking for. An offspring/parent is best, usually male offspring to female parent.
