Anubias and shrimp

Was doing some reading and one article I read said you can't put anubias in a shrimp tank because their roots put out a toxin. I have anubias in my lovely little shrimp tank. Do I need to put it out??? Please say no . .. :(

I've kept amano and cherry shrimp with anubias in the tank and have not had a problem.

There's a chemical in the sap that in much much much higher dosages is an irritant. Someone in 2007 on the site planet inverts ignored how much is actually there and now almost 10 years later it's still going around.

Interesting idea. My tank with the most shrimp in it doesn't have any anubias, but I have other tanks where the shrimp coexist with anubias.

You'd have to puree a couple pounds of anubias and pour it into your little shrimp tank for it to make a difference... you're fine.
