Helping the aquarium

I just heard the my order holey from North Texas Holey Rock is on its way. 70lbs of rock for my 55 gallon. I want this tank to look and run great!

Okay here is the tank when I first brought it home.

This was the tank when I began painting the background.

The tank after the background was finished. I plan to use two AC 110's for filtration, a Koralia Evovlution 850 to help push waste, and 150 watt Jager heater. I will probably just a strip light in the short term with a 50/50 bulb. Still debating between plain pool filter sand or this black sand by Carib Sea.

Off to a good start!

Could get away with a pair of ac70s and save a little cash. Either sand is gonna look great. Think the powerheads might be a bit much if you stay with the ac110s

First, big shout out to the UPS driver who placed the box inside the doorway while my wife was home. This box was heavy. North Texas Holey Rock is a great business to deal with. Mr. Howe shipped out my order as soon as he could. Here are some pics of the rocks that I plan to place in my 55 gallon.

The rocks are well packaged for shipment.

Here are 70lbs of rock. The one laying on the black bag has to weigh at least 20lbs.
