Who's going to ACA 2010 in Milwaukee?

Let's start out by stating some facts:

1. CCA will have the most members there (besides the host club, that is.)

2. You have to start saving your money now. Incidentals to consider:
a. food
b. rental car (maybe)
c. beer, for you and your friends
d. fish
e. vendors
f. gasoline
g. showing a fish if feasible

3. You must put in your time at work as soon as feasible.
a. consider making it a family vacay...or not.

4. Include the Monday after the event.
a. you'll need time to upload and process photos
b. you'll need time to make sure all the fish you bought are doing well
c. you'll need time to gloat over your trophies
d. you may just need that extra day to get back

5. Do not wait until the last minute to register or book your hotel.
a. you want to be as close to all the action as you can be
b. you do not want to sleep on the floor

Can anyone other experienced ACA attendee think of other things to consider?

et moi aussi, but I most likely will fly, 14 hour drive from here, then I can judge the show. I just checked and if I buy my ticket today it's only $216! Ken

I think so. I passed one this morning.
Still feel uncomfortable. We will see.
Hit me Saturday morning. I left Sunday instead of Monday like I had planned.
Rough drive home. Losts of traffic. Lots of stops and a few meds.
But enough about that.
Yes I plan on being there.
Fyi. For those that like to wait. From what I hear there is the main hotel and one near by. Then the next one is like 5 or 8 miles away.

I usually set up my reservations in Feb or March.

I'm going with hubby. Staying at the double tree inn down town :) Really cheap for us :p

Going out there for at least a week. Maybe dive the lake....

See his daughters and dad...

that sounds fun! My hubby wants to go as well! :D i am totally stoked about that! If you thought I cut loose witout hubby, you should see how wild I get with him around :D

I'll need a year to figure out what to do with the kids... lol and talk the hubby into it - big crowded places are not his thing.

I passed one Tuesday am. Thought I was in the clear.
Got hit yesterday with another one. Went on untill about 930 last night. Passed a bigger one. Dragging today. Too many pain killers. uhh.
