Rare Malawi for Nov Meeting

While I mostly keep new world cichlids, I have a few old world.

I picked up some wild mbuna from Atlantis a few months ago and will have some F1 ~1"-ers for the Nov meeting.

The two species I have are:

Metriaclima cyneusmarginatus (Chia Lagoon): http://www.cichlidae.com/gallery/species.php?s=77

These guys only seem to get to about 3-4" and are relatively mild for mbuna. They look a lot like my favorite mbuna, Chilumba zebras, but without growing to 8" and killing everything.

The other is Metriaclima sp. "compact" (Mbamba Bay):

My breeders of sp. "compact" are a blue and black male and chocolate chip females. They're also relatively mild mannered. I brought some of the "compact" to the Aquafest auction but someone bought them before I could register them!

Finally, I have a couple of Metriaclima livingstonii, a Malawi shell dweller: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=900

These are offspring of my breeding group and the male who took 1st at Aquafest.

I'm planning on putting a bag of each in the auction...

Received requests from a couple of folks and I'll have the fish at the meeting.

Planning to bring a sexed trio of the sp. "compact" (black striped blue males, chocoloate chip females) for the auction. If anyone wants some of these, please let me know...
