Maybe I missed it, but what are you planning on doing to seal after the spray paint?

That first sprayfoam background looked like it was fun to makes as well. :)

Could you just use tinted drylock as the exterior coat?

How are you planning to attach it to the tank?

Looked much better after hitting it with a wet sponge. I think I made the right call by using grout.

I got clear pondkote to seal it after painting.

Drylok doesn't give the look I'm going for. It also isn't pleco safe. While pond coat is.

Heard good stuff about pondkote. Uaru Joey used it in his 6'x6' ray tank build.

Where do you get the pondkote,I'm doing a dyi background myself and I'm looking for a way to seal mine. I've seen people say to use 2 part epoxy, but they never list a brand name. Hahaha.

Got my first coat of paint on. I went back and forth with two different kinds. next I got this teen party stuff from the craft store. Going to put that on the highspots spots and then seal it.
