Question about air pumps.
Got an Alita pump which as a 3/8 screw nipple as outlet.
I was planning to go from 3/8s to 1inch PVC pipe(5ft piece)
and then drill holes in the PVC for the air valves.
sounds right?
just wondering if I should do 1/2 inch PVC instead.

Offering my non-professional advice: I would think that jumping up to 1" would have a hard time for the pump to keep that volume pressurized. Personally, I would go with 1/2". Remember to use a tap to thread the outlets.

If the whole thing is looped and closed might not. But def 1/2" would do fine

Is it just me, or does an Alita pump seem a bit overkill for ~5 tanks? I'm running 10 on my coralife super luft that I got for 50$, with simple airline tubing connecting everything. I still have air to spare.
