I don't plan on.staying at the hotel as I only like about 45 minutes away. That said, what's the best way to prepare if you're local and plan to possibly pick up some fish? Would the tubs and a pump be adequate? I have a power outlet in the car for an air pump.

It may be cold in the car.
I always try to bring spare bags and dechlorinator to rebag fish. A fish box or cooler to keep them warm.
I also usually also have O2 but thats just me. Lol
