The following list of fishes are available via Pre-Order for pick up at the OPEN HOUSE ONLY. They will not be shipped or delivered to any meetings. (Please note, in the event of cancellation of open house, severe weather, etc., we will make other arrangements). Also, please note that if you are coming to the PVAS meeting, I have a separate list for the PVAS meeting pick up -- http://www.pvas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=7027.

PRE-ORDERS:
HOW IT WORKS
A pre-order is a great way to get some unique fish at a lower cost. Fish which are offered on pre-order differ from those on our current stock list; these fish are not currently on hand, but simply listed as available. They may be at a holding facility overseas, a wholesaler, or a breeder that Batfish Aquatics buys in bulk from.
The pre-order list allows us to offer these fish to you at a lower cost because it eliminates a lot of risk associated with purchasing and stocking fish. Some of these may be rare and unusual fish that finding the right home for can be difficult. Others are bread and butter fish that we simply don't generally stock. We offer these fish to you at a lower cost because you are committing to buying them. Many times fish will be available on the Pre-Order List that we'll simply never order and stock without someone pre-ordering them.
In order to get these fish, you must make a 50% deposit via PayPal to BatfishAquatics@gmail.com before the deadline imposed. No fish will be ordered without a deposit. You must also agree to the pick-up / ship out window in the pre-order. If you are unable to pick up your fish as described in the pre-order, or by previous made arrangements, you will void your deposit. (I understand that "stuff happens," and am pretty flexible on this, but please let me know as soon as possible. Don't simply not show up at a meeting after we've agreed you'll pick the fish up then -- it's stressful on the fish, and it gets their hopes up!).
If for any reason the fish do not arrive in suitable condition, we'll contact you and let you know, and issue refunds if requested. If, for instance, you order a 6" Pleco and he arrives at 4", you'll have the option of taking the fish or getting a refund. This very, very rarely happens. Occasionally, a fish will simply not arrive, in which case you will also be refunded. You also have the option of simply applying your payment to something else.
Please keep in mind that these fish are not currently on hand, and I have not seen them. As a general rule, I've listed any information available, and I cannot give you a picture, tell you if they're males or females, or give you precise sizing information (although, please use pricing and common sense as a guide -- if a Electric Blue Dempsey is listed for $18, it is probably not going to be 6").
