Apr 1, 2014 #10 dogofwar CCA Members I think Itungi and Ngara are the same variety of "acei": The shoreline at Itungi is sandy and swampy and the nearest rocky habitat is either across the lake south of Matema or straight south near Ngara (http://www.cichlidae.com/locality.php?id=267&content=profile#content) So likely (originally) collected in Ngara and brought to shore in Itungi. Nice fish either way! Tony's got a breeding group of lunkers... Apr 1, 2014 #11 Greengirl Members They blend in almost perfectly with their surroundings. Maybe that is why they are hard to find.
Apr 1, 2014 #13 hollyfish2000 Members I have white tail acei from Tony. This is a very great fish. Extremely attractive, but very mild. I have a whole colony in a 45 with labs, synos and one peacock and everything is cool.
