Best wishes and thoughts for your sister. I am wondering if stress of having to go back to school has anything to do with her feeling this way. Just a thought. Most all physical issues stem from mental and emotional ones.

Thanks guys! I'm doing ok. I stayed with her last night. I must have been tired because I slept extremely well even at the hospital. I was even able to sleep in until 8:30 am!

She is still in the hospital and still not sure what's wrong She saw a GI specialist and he will be performing both an endoscopy and a colonoscopy tomorrow. Hopefully we'll know more from those. He says it could still be her appendix. Poor girl has been on a clear liquids only diet since being hospitalized on Thursday.

Hopefully the GI specialist will find the problem. Stay strong. Glad you could sleep. Make sure you stay rested.

She is home now. Her stomach lining is irritated but they aren't sure why. They did biopsies to find out so hopefully we will know something soon.

That's good. Could be due to bacteria. Most likely H. pylori. You can do a search and find out what that's all about. I know a couple of people who have had that problem. Good news is that if it's H. pylori, it's easily treatable with anti-biotic. Stress is a big factor.

I'm glad she's home, Sam. Keeping my fingers crossed for a speedy recovery and that she can make it back down to school on time. Bummer she had to spend her last few days at home dealing with all of this.

Sam, we are happy to hear that she is at home and resting.

Hopefully, the doctors will get to the bottom of this quickly and she will have a speedy recovery and get back to school soon.
