Petco is doing their $1 per gallon sale. That includes 40 gallon breeder tanks. Would the footprint be the same as a 38 gallon? Good luck.

Yeah if it is in good shape! My 38 needs to be resealed but it's old and has scratches so I would rather just get one in better shape!

This one is an antique (1970s) but looks good and holds water. It was given to me by a buddy's girlfriend when I was starting to get really into fish keeping in the early 90s. She had for 20ish years before she gave it to me. The tank went into storage 2000-2012. I have been using it for the last several months as my rainwater resevoir in my fishroom, so I know it does not leak. I'll post a pic for you.

Okay thanks. My stand is black and all so brown doesn't really go so well. I was also hoping to get a slightly newer tank being that I am replacing a pretty old one. thanks so much for the offer and posting the picture!

I have a 38 available, but it's the "light oak" color trim.
